Simon Goodall

Educator, Consultant & Grazing Planner

Simon Goodall is an educator, consultant, and grazing planner with deep experience in regenerative livestock systems across both brittle and non-brittle environments. Having managed farms in varied climates, he has applied Holistic Planned Grazing to restore degraded land, improve soil health, and increase forage productivity — grounding his work in practical, on-the-ground realities.

As Technical Lead for the Savory Institute’s Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV), Simon supports producers around the world with a monitoring framework that provides clear, actionable feedback on ecosystem health. He also serves as President of Gestione Olistica Italia ETS, working closely with Italian farmers and pastoralists to implement holistic decision-making, design grazing plans, and track ecological outcomes.

Through his consultancy Goodall Maps, Simon helps land managers create context-driven grazing systems and monitor landscape change. Bridging practical experience with ecological insight, he supports producers in regenerating land and building resilient, future-ready farm businesses.
